First and foremost, I want to thank you for stopping by and sharing this moment of your life with me. I will tell you that when I first started this blog I had lots of troubles and it has now turned into a beautiful mess. Just like turkey stuffing. Looks like … but tastes like heaven. While you snoop through my blog you will be indulged by my travel stories, my views on this world, as well educated through my PR knowledge. I’m hungry. Enjoy my turkey stuffing!

Top AliExpress Purchases

I shop on AliExpress for dupes and affordable items quite often and love reviewing them on my Instagam page. I try my best to do lots of research and compare similar products sold on the platform as well before I make my purchase decision. Here are my top AliExpress Purchases that I highly recommend that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

  1. Aluminum Laptop Stand
Bought this in October 2019 and it’s still in great condition and I use it everyday.

  2. Phone Gimbal
I’ve wanted a gimbal to help me stabilize my iPhone videos and the ones on the market were quite pricey. I’ve owned this since October 2019 and it’s been awesome.

  3. Black Long Sleeve Bodysuit
Oh man, this bodysuit is amazing and I couldn’t stop raving about it on Instagram. (50 people instantly bought it!) The quality is comparable to Aritzia. I purchased both the Black & White but the white colour is not opaque enough for me, but the black is perfect!

  4. Simple Small Gold Hoops
I’ve been wearing these hoops everyday for two months and the gold has not worn off. I’ve even put them through my sonic jewelry cleaning machine and nothing wore off.

  5. Electric Drying Brush
I use this item almost 2 times a week to help smoothen my hair when it’s half dry. I purchased it in October 2019 and it’s still going strong. (Make sure you remove the hair from time to time) I pair this product with Kerastase Heat Protectant for best results.

  6. Makeup Case
This item has stayed in shape and is still in perfect condition (minus the makeup stains) since I purchased it in October 2019. Perfect for traveling and organizing makeup. I bought the large size.

  7. Muscle Massage Gun
We originally wanted to buy the Theragun for our muscles, but that retails for over $350 and we have so many stretching gadgets at home but never use them so I didn’t want to invest a lot into a muscle gun. This gets the job done is super sturdy and has 6 settings.

  8. Electric Nail Drill
I wanted to do my own gel nails during covid so I purchased this nail drill and it’s made the remove process a lot easier because the nail filer takes ages. Works great! I bought the $11.50 option.

  9. Gold & Silver Jewelry
If you’re looking for Mejuri dupes then check out these pieces. Great quality pieces & super cheap!

Not Rich – Just a Crazy Asian

I love everything about Singapore – especially the food. It was like an upscale and cleaner version of Hong Kong and New York combined? If that makes any sense lol.

I was in Singapore for five days, and every day I was full haha. From the Whiskey Infused Xiao Long Bao to the $3 bowl of Lor Mee, I died and went to foodie heaven! What I fell in love with the most wasn’t just the taste of the food but how multicultural and diverse this country was. It satisfied my cheap-ass side and my boujee ass side too.

Not only was my stomach full, but so was my heart.

Bali Love

Bali is truly an Instagrammer’s Playground! From the food to excursions, you can expect your mind to be blown away. Many call Bali the Mexico of Asia due to price and number of gorgeous resorts to choose from.

I left for Bali in early June and was only in Bali for seven days, but I can’t wait to go back. I could totally see myself travelling there for over a month and being a true digital nomad! Since I was there for only one week, I wasn’t able to hit the islands, so that is definitely on the list next time. The two cities I visited in Bali were Ubud and Canggu.

Short Getaways & Packing Tips

It’s been a while since I wrote a travel blog. Funny enough I still haven’t done a blog about my last Indonesia & Singapore trip. But, here’s something short and sweet for those of you that love a good short getaway!

Since leaving my 9-5 I have travelled about 5-7 times a year #blessed and sometimes the trips are planned a year in advance thanks to YVR Deals, and sometimes they’re spontaneous (those are the most fun sometimes). But the thing I dread the most when it comes to travelling is packing! I’m always such a last minute packer because I need to try on all my outfits, find out where we will be going on the trip to decide what I want to wear and bring on the trip.

So I’ll give you a few of my favourite packing tips & tricks before I start blabbing on about my favourite wine & food pairings.

Bae Area

Man.. I don’t even know where to start. Let’s just say I was full during my entire 4-day trip in San Francisco. In those 4 days, I ate at 27 restaurants, became a skeeball champ, drooled while I watched Klay Thompson from afar, and so much more. Who knew you could pack all that into 4 days?!

Let’s dive in!

Aloha baby

Alohaaaa – This trip to Hawaii was unreal! Though this trip was a gift for Ben, I had the best time of my life and learned so many new things about myself. I think what defines an amazing trip is if you had delicious food, met new friends and learned something new either a skill or about yourself.

If you’ve read my travel blogs before then you should be familiar with my style of travelling. I don’t like touristy shit… aka I didn’t go to Hanauma Bay lol. I’ll hit up the ‘MUST EATS’ but I love discovering a new hole in the wall! During this trip, I didn’t have enough time to hit up the North Shore and try any shrimp trucks and go to the Dole Plantation… etc etc, so if that’s what you’re expecting in this blog then you can leave now.

Let’s get this started!

Fall Skincare Routine with Scentuals

Raise your hand if your skin is flakey and dry right now. My skin care routine changes every season depending on the weather and how my skin is reacting. I have sensitive and combination skin but I constantly find myself leaning more on the dry side this fall.

Here are 3 of my favourite things to do during this Fall season to hydrate and pamper my skin.

  1. Bath
  2. Facial
  3. Meditation

To be honest you could do all three of these things at the same time lol. Before I get into the details I just want to mention that I love anything and everything lavender scented!

First steps to branding.

Your brand is the most critical thing in your business. It’s not just about slapping on a name and a logo. Branding your business correctly will help you attract new customers, retain your customers and increase your profits. Your brand speaks volumes to what your values are and your vibe.

A long time ago when I didn’t even consider myself a brand… I came up with a name that at the time seemed cool as my social media name. That is how ‘Ndrealynn‘ was born. I knew how to pronounce it, no one had that username for anything on social media… it was perfect. Except it didn’t mean anything, it didn’t leave an impression on others, and some people couldn’t even pronounce it properly. A question I kept asking myself for the past year was, “It’s been so many years now, is it too late to create a new name?”, and the answer is NO! It’s never too late, especially if your values and direction for your brand have changed.

I have officially decided to rebrand my blog and personal brand as Vancouver PR Girl. I think it comes as no surprise since it’s a name that I’ve loved since I started PR and it’s a name I resonate with. But enough about me let’s get to the good stuff!

What is a  brand?

I like to tell my clients that a brand is any touch-points or visuals their company has, that the customer will/could interact with.

Osoyoos vs. Penticton

Cruising over to the Okanagan is always a good idea when it comes to small getaways. Now the only question you have to ask yourself is, “Should I go to Penticton or Osoyoos? Which one is better?”. You’ve probably heard so many times from each of your friends on which place is better and why. It’s probably goes something like this: “In Penticton, you haveee to go on the channel with a beer in your hand!” and “Oh, you’re going to Osoyoos? OMG you have to go to Burrowing Owl for dinner!”. In this blog, I’m going to tell you which destination I think is better and why.
